Some of the Churches we have made cushions for:

  • Church one
  • Church two
  • Church three
  • Church four
  • Church five
  • Church six

Below are some pictures we have taken:

Above is a single type cushion for the pews at The Market Harborough Congregational Church. Rather than the whole pew being covered, parishioners help themselves to a cushion on the way into church.....(First come first served!) Colour, Vienna Nightshade.

Above is St John the Baptist`s church in Billinghurst. See the lovely brick interior and Altar. Those old oak pews are now in the third generation of churches on the same site, they are over 600 years old. The vicar & parishioners we met at the church were well pleased with their new cushions.

Above is the Church of St Radegund at Scruton, Northallerton. See the lovely Communion Rail Kneelers & pew cushions in our red polyester.

Above is St George`s Church Weald, Sevenoaks, Kent. They chose our red polyester.

In blue above at Zoar Baptist Chapel, Ipswich.

Above, the 500 year old church at Cartmel Fell has become a comfortable place to sit!

One of our pew cushion sales was to the Bethesda Church, Nr Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire. Here is a note from the church:-

"Dear All at Safefoam, Just a quick note to thank you so much for the lovely pew cushions -
they were well used on Sunday and everyone loved them. They loved the colour, the fit and the workmanship, so thank you to all concerned for your excellent service. We`ll certainly recommend you and if we need anything similar in the future we will contact you."

We are very grateful for these kind remarks.

Above is our popular Phoenix Raspberry fabric used at Bethesda.

Another note came, a greeting card (above left) from Haslemere this time.

"A belated but big thank you from the congregation at St Christoper`s Church, Haslemere - everybody is delighted with the new choir pew cushions. They fit perfectly and look very smart and are very comfortable. Our grateful thanks to all of you at Safefoam."

Thanks for your kind comments, everybody here appreciates your gratitude.

Above right is seen another beautiful church. The Kings Langley All Saints Church.

This amazing piece of history is found in one of the windows of the church. Replacement glass April 1772, 235 years ago! Our new cushions are as good as they get, however I do not think they will last that long!

Seen above right is the Church of St James the Less in Westminster.

We delivered our pew cushions & everybody was so pleased!

The cushions above were delivered to Hullbridge Free Church, Southend. The fabric is our William Morris Burgundy. Please note the matching zips and the contrasting piping. The foam used is the one priced at top of page. For ease of cover removal for cleaning, we put on FREE stockinette.

The Church Pew Cushions in the small picture at the very top of this page (next to the price) were delivered to a chapel at Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. Each of the pew cushions is 2 inches thick, and the quality polyester covers are all with piped edges. (Of course any thickness can be made, 2 inches is the most popular).
Polyester covers can be easily removed for washing.

Prices can vary depending on foam quality and thickness, and on fabric chosen. The red pew cushions below are 13 inches wide.

At 13 inches wide & 2 inches thick, the foam alone content, can cost as little as £2.28 per foot, (depending on choice of foam). The red polyester covers below, including piping cost in the region of £4.99 per foot, including VAT. These prices are virtually unbeatable. We read somewhere recently that pew cushions cannot make sermons shorter, just more comfortable!

The Green Pew Cushion above is in a house & has no piping, you can see that in addition, we also have brighter fabrics than the more traditional church colours.

In Anfield, Liverpool, the Oakfield Methodist Church Cushions top right are in Safefoam`s own 100% Cotton Chapel Red.

Above left see close up of our 100% cotton covers, in Chapel Red, with the beautiful piped edges.

William Morris Blue Polyester covers above right.

We have more than twenty suitable fabrics for churches, claret, blue, lilac, green & others.
