You may wish to see even more pictures from 2008

Some of the churches for which we have made pew or kneeler cushions in 2009/10, you might like to visit and inspect our quality.

You can click on any of the names below to find a link to the church.

Wednesday 23rd December

Delivery to 3 churches in Cornwall, two in Wadebridge and the last one in Looe.

St Martin's Church, Looe Below

St Menefreda Church below

St Michael's Porthilly, Rock, Wadebridge below, pictures and note from Church

We are very pleased with the pew cushions, and attach some photos, as requested.   I am sorry that it was not possible to install them yourselves, but our flower arrangers were in the middle of decorating the church, with a lot of greenery and water around!

We are now wondering whether to finish off the rest of the pews, and would like an estimate for the following sizes, obviously in the same material (Tivoli Jade) and no piping....................

Photographs from customers always look better than ours!  Perhaps our Kodak Brownie needs an update! Thank you for your kind words...............

Tuesday 22nd December

Delivery to St Catherine's School Bramley, Guidford below. The chapel is a magnificent part of the beautiful school.

Monday 14th December

A note of thanks came today from the Church Treasuerer. (We appreciate notes like this!)

..... in settlement of the above invoice with St Lukes Church Kew . Thank you for your excellent service and we are all very pleased with the new cushions.

Tuesday 8th December

Another consignment to Holy Cross Curch Bignor, Sussex. This time to match the cushions they bought in October we delivered 70 kneelers. These were special in so much as  D Rings were required for hanging.

Friday 20th November

We delivered to St Andrew's in Letcombe Regis, Nr Wantage, Oxon.

A picturesque thatched cottage village, with this lovely church in the centre.

Like St Joseph's at Cromer, they also chose Chancel Red.

Thursday 19th November

St Luke's in Kew chose our Textured Superweave Terracotta.  The church has been subdivided into a community centre, so there was lot's of activity when our driver & wife arrived. A very welcoming group of helpers soon saw the new cushions in place. In fact the driver & mate afterwards spent a very

happy afternoon at Kew Gardens which was only half a mile away. The Parish Administrator being a member at Kew Gardens very kindly presented the driver with Day Tickets, saving him & his wife a small fortune.

Wednesday 18th November

Sheringham in Cromer has the beautiful St Joseph's Church. It is the only listed building in the town.

Here they chose our Chancel Red, like St James in Poole. The Stations of the Cross were all brought by car from Italy, avoiding Nazis attention on the way!

Tuesday 17th November

We delivered to Falkirk, to the Blackbrae & Shieldhill Parish Church of Scotland. See the pictures below. This fabric was specially commissioned for the church to match the carpet. Our white van man says that it is also Ranger's colour!

Friday 30th October

Another order for kneelers, this time covered in our Westminster Navy. St Albans, Splott, in Cardiff are renovating one of the chapels, these are Communion rail kneelers.

Thursday 29th October

Another batch of 20 recon foam kneelers (often known as chipfoam) to the needlecraft guild of Southwell Minster. Their project started in October 2006 and this current order means they have already purchased 80. We are very grateful for the repeat business.

Wednesday 14th October

We delivered to RAF Alconbury, Cambridgeshire. The base chapel is used by USA Airmen and they chose our Ravello Navy. It was an exciting trp for our driver. He saw a fighter jet at the entrance and needed a security pass to enter. Luckily he has a good past record.

Pictured above our Ravello Navy.

Later in the afternoon, our second delivery of the day was in Bearsted, Maidstone, Kent. They chose our Willow Green Diamond and some of the choir pews had interesting shapes.

Pictured above our Willow Diamond Green. The front shaped bench cushion is held in place with tie on tapes.

Thursday 15th October

Delivery to All Saints Church Stourmouth, Canterbury. The pews here varied, some very old and some even older.

Pictured above our Salamander Navy/Caret, at Stourmouth.

Later in the day we dellivered to Holy Cross Church Bignor, Sussex. To the driver's delight he discovered that the new pew cushions would be put to full use only 2 days later when on the evening of Saturday 17th there was going to be a concert in the church.See picture below.

Pictured above our Salamander Navy/Caret, at Bignor. The ladder in the church was being used to fix up lighting for the concert. Our driver asked us if he could stay for the concert. A negative response was our decision!

Friday 16th October

A pleasant return to St James Parish Church Poole. This time the delivery was for the choir stalls and this time the driver had remembered the camera!

Pictured above in the beautiful Red fabric. The choir stalls now matching the main body of the church, which was previously done in July.

Tuesday 1st September

We delivered to Nth Wales, Waen Congregational Chapel. A beautiful rural location outside  St Asaph. Our Willow Green Diamond is a lovely bright fabric.

Monday 17th August

Finally managed to get some pictures, hope they are OK.   Choir is delighted with the cushions!

Mr Peter Green, Treasurer

The above pictures are of the Choir Stall at Little Hallingbury Parochial Church, Bishops Stortford. The pictures were taken by a member of the church and emailed to us.

Friday 17th July

Our White  Van was seen in Chelmsford and delivered to a parishioner's home. The church name will follow, but the fabric was our Salamander Terracotta.

Thursday 16th July

A trip from Somerset to Poole found St James Parish Church to be all that has been written about it. A fantastic church. We supplied the main body of the church with our new plain red fabric. It looked very good and was especially comfy. The church chose 2.25 inches thick foam for extra comfort and plump appearance.

The pictures below are from our mobile phone and don't do the church or the covers true justice.

There is a chance of us quoting for the side pews, if we get the job we'll take the camera next time! We got a lovely approval letter from Mr Scott. You might like to see it. Look for August letters in Customers' Comments

Thursday 16th July

Our White  Van Man visited a beautiful rural church in Nth Somerset, and now the choir will sing in comfort! They chose our Paris Check fabric.

Tuesday 30th June

We got an phone call from Muiravonside Church of Scotland. They have just had their flower festival and over 500 people were there on Saturday. Many good comments were made about the pew cushions we supplied in March this year.

St Mary's at Marton in the Forest, seen above, chose our Manhattan Chenille Navy.

Thursday 28th May

We delivered 34 kneelers for St Augustines Priory, Ealing.

The foam is extra firm 9lb Reconstituted foam, ideal for kneelers. The fabric is a suitably matching green for the chapel.

Friday 22nd May

Our first delivery overseas, it's true but only to the beautiful Isle of Wight. St Mary the Virgin's Church in Brading. A building of true beauty built in the 1100's.

St Mary the Virgin's Church chose our Textured Superweave Rich Terracotta. It goes so well inside this beautiful church.

Thursday 21st May

We delivered to 3 churches, St Martin's Knebworth, Carey Baptist Church, Marlowes, Hemel Hepstead & All Saints Church, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, all in Hertfordshire.

Carey Baptist Church, Hemel Hempstead, chose our Cardinal Rouge. A vibrant red to brighten up any church.

All Saints Church at Rickmansworth seen above. They chose our Textured Superweave Rich Burgundy for the choir stalls. Now the choir, who always sang very well, also sing very well in comfort.

St Martin's Knebworth with the wonderful welcome & the unusual organ pipes.

We got this letter from the church at Wreay dated 29th April. "The pew cushions look beautiful and everyone is delighted with them. We sat on them for a service for the first time on Sunday and they are very comfortable and fit extremey well.

Thank you very much for all your hard work, it is much appreciated.  Treasurer, Wreay PCC. "

Friday 24th April

Another visit to the Highlands of Scotland this time to Tain. Tain is a beautiful secret that Scotland keeps from us all and is well worth a holiday visit. It is north on Inverness.

Thursday 23rd April

St George's day saw us at St Mary's Wreay, a very special church of outstanding Victorian architecture.

Saturday 21st March

The first day of Spring saw our white van man down by the seaside on a beautiful Spring morning.

St Andrew's Church in Hove ordered our Ravello Navy Blue 2 inches thick without piping. A beautiful rich blue, befitting for the Patron saint of Scotland. St Andrew's is locally known as "the church by the sea". The picture below shows why!  The sixty pew cushions were unloaded in almost 60 seconds! A strong man team greeted our weak white van man!  Message already in on Tuesday 24th from Mr Spence at St Andrew's. ( Re the new cushions) " yes, they do look good on your website, and the cushions are already receiving so many compliments!"

White van outside St Andrew's, the sea is there just above the van! (Picture taken by our driver) All the rest of the pictures (brilliant they are) came by email from the church.

Friday 20th March

Delivery to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Wolverhampton.

The pews here are unusually and beautifully curved. The solution for cushions was to have individual smaller cushions, thus overcoming the difficulty of making patterns for all of the different curves. 2 inch thick foam in our Manhatten Chenille Navy without piping, the cushions go so well with the carpet. The greeting party were delighted with the new cushions.

Spring Daffs make a welcoming entrance to the Church.

Thursday 12th March

Delivery to Muiravonside Church in Falkirk. We were greeted by a working group of helpful unloaders for this big order.

Friday 6th March

A visit to the beautiful All Hallows Church at Hargrave, near Wellingborough. The greeting party were very pleased with the new cushions and said they were looking forward to using them over the weekend.

The pictures below show how good the cushions look on the Mediaeval Pews.

Monday 2nd February

The worst snowfall for nearly 20 years saw our intrepid white van crew battle their way to Tonbridge. The images below show it was all worth while!

The pictures above are from the Tonbridge Parish. St Peter and St Paul church is one of our biggest orders for church pews. The beautiful Textured Superweave, Rich Terracotta blends so well with the timber of the pews. The helpful greeting party were pleased with the new cushions and the vicar also said that he liked them.We got this email from the church on 12th Feb. Thank you again for a job well done.

We have had many compliments from the congregation and all are delighted with the new comfort you have supplied. Everyone was impressed that you managed to beat the weather and deliver the cushions in such difficult driving conditions and I was relieved that all the measurements worked out OK. I can stop worrying now!

Best wishes and I hope all goes well for you in the future.

Our Paris Check Aubergine fabric seen above on our very own church pew.

Saturday 24th January we delivered to Harmby Methodist Chapel in the beautiful North Yorkshire Dales. The fabric is Ravello Navy and was chosen without piping.

The images below show the pews, the altar and the outside.

We got an email from the church on the Monday after delivery.

The cushions are very comfortable and everyone liked them. The visiting preacher remarked on them when he came in and his sermon began about a preacher who used to preach such boring sermons that he was told to spice them up and not use so many platitudes. He then went on to say that he hoped his sermon kept us awake on our comfortable seats.  It was a really good service, held in a warm and comfortable place and everyone came out of chapel happy.

Thanks for all your help, God bless, Jennifer

Saturday 17th January, Saw us delivering to the beautiful St Curig's church very close to Cardiff airport.

The images below were taken on a mobile phone and don't give justice to the quality. The fabric is our popular Textured superweave Rich Terracotta. See better image for the quality, lower image was taken on a different pew, not at St Curig's.

We got a note from the church warden soon after the delivery.

The congregation were delighted on Sunday morning when they saw the new pew runners. They said it was the most comfortable service they had ever attended! Payment is on the way. Is there a possibility of purchasing a metre of the fabric to cover 2 chairs which are in the sanctuary? It would really finish it off. As a PCC we would be glad to recommend your products and would commend you on your customer service. On behalf of the parish of Porthkerry and Rhoose a very big thank you.

Elizabeth Davies   Church Warden
